Each year the Association holds an Annual General Meeting, usually towards the end of October or beginning of November. The venue alternates, generally with two out of three years being held in London and the third year in another of the major cities in England and Wales.
At the meeting the statutory motions include:
The meeting may be addressed by the Association’s President, the Lord Chief Justice; Chairman and Honorary Treasurer; and by other distinguished guests.
Various officers of the Association are elected and motions debated to establish policy on topical subjects.
One or more presentations may be made in order to enhance the understanding of members on areas of current interest.
