What it costs to join
Current annual subscription rates are:
Ordinary: £33.50
Associate: £33.50
Subscriber: £31.00

We accept payment by direct debit, cheque, postal order or internet/telephone banking transfers.
Subscriptions are due for renewal annually on the anniversary of the month joined. Receipts are not sent unless requested.

Gift Aid Scheme
not applicable to subscribers
The Gift Aid Scheme means that we can treat your subscription as a donation and reclaim tax provided that you have paid sufficient UK tax. Please check the appropriate box above either to enable us to reclaim tax or to notify us that you are not eligible to assist in this way.

Direct Debits
Members are urged to use the direct debit method: the member signs a direct debit form giving the Association authority to claim the subscriptions direct from the member’s bank account; the form is returned to the Membership Department and sent to the member’s bank after recording the details. Subscriptions are claimed at the beginning of the month due.

Cheque or Postal Order
Cheques should be made payable to “The Magistrates Association” and be sent to: 28 Fitzroy Square, London, W1T 6DD. If renewing your subscription, please make sure your membership number is written on the reverse of the cheque.

Internet/Telephone Banking Transfer
You can make bank transfers via online or telephone banking but you must make sure your membership number is given as a reference for the transaction or we will be unable to correctly credit your payment to your record.
