MA Response to the Coronavirus Bill 20 March 2020 The government have introduced a Bill setting out emergency powers to respond to the current coronavirus crisis. The Bill will be debated in parliament next Monday and Tuesday, with the intention of completing parliamentary scrutiny by Wednesday if possible. The Bill includes provisions to allow video or audio link to be used in criminal cases, to avoid unnecessary contact during hearings.
