Fiona Abbott JP, Chairman of the Youth Court Committee, recently spokes at a Policy-UK event, Young People in the Justice System - Delivering a Positive Outcome: Early Intervention, Education and Reducing Reoffending.

The guest of honour was the Right Honourable the Lord McNally, and the event was chaired by Baroness Howarth of Breckland and The Right Honourable The Lord Ramsbotham. Fiona’s speech was part of a panel discussion on What Young Offenders Need from the System: Early intervention, prevention and the courts, and focused on a number of issues including Looked After Children and the Youth Justice System.
