MA Patron’s Lunch Raffle winners!

The draw was carried out by Anissa Kahouadji, Andrew Muckle and Alison Quinn at 14:00 on 29 February 2016. A website offering a random number generator was used and the draw was filmed by staff to ensure fairness.

Commiserations to those of you who were unsuccessful, however the MA would like to thank you for your continued support of its activities and interest in the event.

General information about the raffle

The Magistrates’ Association (MA) is kicking off 2016 with an exciting fundraising opportunity. We are extremely excited to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend Her Majesty The Queen’s joint 90th Birthday and Patronage celebrations taking place on Sunday 12 June 2016 at the Mall in London.

As one of HM’s patron organisations the MA has secured a table at The Patron’s Lunch, which will be hosted by MA Chairman, Malcolm Richardson. Four lucky members will win a pair of tickets to attend and join in the historical celebrations that will be broadcast to the nation.

The event is being organised by The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited and will be the climax to a fantastic weekend of celebrations. It will begin with a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 10 June followed by Trooping the Colour on Saturday 11 June and culminating in The Patron’s Lunch as the celebratory finale on the Sunday.   1. Please note that The Magistrates’ Association (MA) is not responsible for the organisation of The Patron’s Lunch event. More information on the event can be found here.
  2. Participation in the MA Patron’s Lunch raffle costs £20 per entry.
  3. Profits from this raffle will support the work of the MA. Registered charity no 216066.
  4. It is an offence for raffle entries to be sold to, or by, a person under 16 years. Anyone under 16 who is found to be doing so will automatically forfeit their right to a prize.
  5. Payment for participation in the raffle can only be made by credit/debit card online via the MA raffle Eventbrite page.
  6. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
  7. MA members are entitled to enter the raffle unlimited times.
  8. Winners are entitled to bring a guest who is not an MA member to the event. All attendees must provide valid proof of their identity, required by the event organisers for verification on the day.
  9. Raffle ticket purchases close at 17:00 on 28 February 2016. The draw will take place on 29 February 2016. Winning entries will be randomly drawn in the presence of two witnesses. The prizes are as follows:

    Winner 1: two tickets to attend The Patron’s Lunch event
    Winner 2: two tickets to attend The Patron’s Lunch event
    Winner 3: two tickets to attend The Patron’s Lunch event
    Winner 4: two tickets to attend The Patron’s Lunch event

  10. The winners will be notified within one week of the draw, by telephone or by post where a telephone number is not available.
  11. Winners and guests will receive instructions to provide their full contact details and proof of identify for event security. The deadline for submitting this information to the MA is 15 March 2016. If the information is not received by the deadline, in accordance with The Patron’s Lunch security protocol, you may be refused entry to the Mall on the day of the event.
  12. All raffle ticket purchases are final and no refunds can be offered.
  13. A list of the winner's names, branches and winning numbers will be posted on the MA website.
