The MA’s former chair, John Bache, and his wife Anne, attended an investiture ceremony for his OBE on 30 March 2022, at Windsor Castle. The OBE was presented by Prince Charles.
John was chair from 2017 to 2020, having been a trustee since 2009. He also chaired the MA’s Youth Court Committee from 2010 to 2013.
The MA’s Chief Executive, Tom Franklin, commented:
“It is wonderful that John’s achievements at the MA—where he helped the organisation speak up for magistrates over a period of a decade and half—and more broadly as a magistrate serving his community for more than three decades have been recognised in this way. We couldn’t be more proud of John, and send our warm congratulations to him and Anne.”
