This Sunday (1 March) is St David’s Day, the national day of Wales and a celebration of Welsh culture and language. It marks the death of Saint David (Dewi), the patron saint of Wales, who died on this day in 589 AD.
The MA represents and speaks for magistrates in England and Wales, and we’re proud of our connections to the country. Our National Chair David Ford is a proud Welshman and in all, we have 701 members in Wales. To all our Welsh members and all Welsh magistrates, we say: thank you for your service, and “Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!” (Happy St David’s Day).
