Our strategy outlines the programme of work we will carry out over the three years to help us deliver on our mission of promoting the sound administration of the law by campaigning on policy and practice relating to the magistracy, providing support and development guidance to magistrates, and informing the public about the magistracy and the broader justice system.
We were due to publish an updated strategy at the beginning of 2023 but decided to postpone this to allow us to focus instead on implementing a five-year business change programme (2021-2026). Having made strong headway on this, we now plan to publish an updated strategy at the beginning of 2024.
