Join this webinar to learn how, through intensive 1 to 1 support and real work training, the London based charity Switchback, enable young prison leavers to build a stable rewarding life. Their whole-person approach means that when prison leavers enter work or housing, they have the stability to stay there long-term through the ups and downs. Hear how Switchback have supported over 2,000 young men by providing a frank, non-judgemental relationship with someone who is there for them on a daily basis, helping them to navigate the turbulent transition from prison to community.

A growing magistracy: Delivering justice in a changing world. The next few years will reshape the magistracy across both the criminal and family courts. Rising caseloads, extended responsibilities and thousands of new magistrates joining the system present both excitement and challenge. This conference asks how we sustain quality while expanding rapidly, recruit inclusively when numbers are increasing sharply, and provide training, mentoring and support that prepares new colleagues for the reality of work in all jurisdictions.

Many of our local branches also put on engaging online and in-person skills events
and talks that are open to all MA members.

Branches also nominate their members to attend the Royal Garden Party events held at Buckingham Palace.

Thank you for nominating me to attend the Royal Garden Party on your behalf. We enjoyed the company of HRM King Charles and HRH Queen Camilla, in the wonderful grounds of Buckingham Palace. The Royal bands played in the background whilst guests enjoyed the tea and the famous finger sandwiches. Thank you for valuing the work members do, and offering me to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.
