Stalking: In conversation with Clive Ruggles and Sue Hills, the parents of Alice Ruggles. Alice was killed 10 years ago by her stalker. Her parents set up a Trust in her memory to educate young people about what stalking looks like and how we as a society can spot the risks
Clive and Sue will share Alice’s story as well as talking about the importance of courts understanding how the behaviours of offenders are a signpost to the risk posed to victims. We will also explore the role of Stalking Protection Orders.

New magistrate webinar
If you are a magistrate who is relatively new, or going through the process of applying to become a magistrate then you might want to attend this webinar.
This webinar is designed to talk to both members and non-members about who the Magistrates' Association (MA) is, what we do and how we do it. National Chair, David Ford JP and CEO Catherine Feast will introduce the MA, and there will then be an opportunity to speak with others who have just become magistrates, or who are going through the process of becoming one.

Understanding antisemitism
This webinar will focus on antisemitism: what it is, its roots, modern manifestations and on de-mystifying Jewish people.
Antisemitism session content aims and outputs:
1. Increased understanding of who Jewish people are and the community in the UK.
2. Increased understanding of what antisemitism is, its scale and reach.
3. Knowledge about the different manifestations of antisemitism including but not limited to: conspiratorial, Holocaust denial, Israel and Zionism-linked.
4. To understand antisemitism online, its impact and pervasiveness.
5. For participants to be able to determine antisemitism when they see it and explain why something might be antisemitic.
It will be led by Head of Training at the Antisemitism Policy Trust, Mark Rusling.
