Get involved

Our members are at the heart of everything we do. As well as attending events, participating in diversity and inclusion networks and educating others about the magistracy, members can support our work by volunteering for us, recruiting new members and leaving us a donation.

Ways to get involved

Attend an event

Join one of our upcoming national events or webinars to meet other members and hear from key sector stakeholders and MA staff and volunteers about topical issues.

Diversity and inclusion networks

Connect with other magistrates from underrepresented groups in the magistracy—Black, Asian and minority ethnic, disabled, LGBT+ and young—by joining one of our networks.

Help educate your community

Play an active role in promoting the magistracy and engaging your community.

Help us influence

We campaign on policy and practice relating to the magistracy. We directly address the issues that matter most to our 11,500 members to deliver tangible change.

Help us recruit

New members bring fresh ideas and energy, which are invaluable to our success. Why not help us grow an even larger and more vibrant membership by encouraging others to join us today?
