The Big Day out is aimed at our retired members and partners of magistrates. Frank Shipway, who is a retired magistrate will be hosting attendees for the morning.  Frank is going to share his experiences of working with the Independent Monitoring Board, and his experience of being co-opted onto the MA board of trustees to represent the views of retired magistrates and would like attendees to share their experiences too.

There will be activities taking place throughout the day and attendees will join conference attendees for lunch.

We will be spending the afternoon at the West Midlands Police Museum, learning about Victorian police practices.  Attendees can then return to the BCEC for our drinks reception.
